What myfocus is

myfocus is a personal focus and planning tool: goals, tasks, a calendar synced with Google, and a pomodoro timer. This page explains what data it collects, why, and who it’s shared with.

What we collect

• Account info. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. If you use a magic link instead, just your email address.
• Calendar data. With your separate consent (Calendar access is asked for after sign-in, never bundled into it), myfocus reads your primary calendar’s busy times and reads/writes a dedicated calendar it uses for two-way sync. It never touches any other calendar.
• What you create. Goals, tasks, time blocks, and timer sessions you enter — this is the core content of the app.
• Voice input. If you set up the Siri Shortcut, what you dictate is sent to our server and then to Google’s Gemini API to turn into a goal, task, or scheduled block. The same model is used to generate the optional “what’s next” suggestions from your goals and calendar.
• Payment info. If you subscribe, card details go directly to Stripe — myfocus never sees or stores them. We keep only your subscription status and Stripe’s customer/subscription IDs, needed to know your account is paid and to let you manage billing.
• Usage analytics. Which pages get visited, in aggregate — via Umami, a cookieless analytics tool that doesn’t store IP addresses or track anyone across sites. There’s nothing here that identifies you individually, and no advertising ID is ever involved.

Who it’s shared with

Only the services that run the app — never sold, never used for advertising.

• Google — sign-in, Calendar sync, and Gemini for voice parsing and suggestions.
• Supabase — our database and authentication provider. Every table is isolated per user with Row Level Security; nothing about your data is readable across accounts, including by us, without deliberately bypassing that isolation.
• Vercel — where the app is hosted and run.
• Stripe — payment processing, if you subscribe.
• Umami — page-view analytics, hosted in the EU. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal data.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. Delete your account (or email us) and we delete your data, aside from what Stripe and Google retain under their own policies for records they’re independently responsible for (e.g. billing history).

Your choices

Disconnect Google Calendar access at any time from your Google account’s connected apps settings. Revoke the Siri Shortcut’s access by rotating your voice token in Voice setup. Ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Children

myfocus isn’t directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
